Lounge Room Vignettes..

I have been doing some autumn cleaning and rearranging. Twice a year we have a street collection, so we get the opotunity to clean out rubbish and old furnishing . Sometimes its even a great time to collect some treasures that others dont want. I was unlucky this time to find anything.

 

 

Here are some photos of my changed lounge room. I love to rearrange furniture, especially this time of the year to make it more cosy.

I bought these little bottles for only $3 each, I think they will end up in the bathroom,eventually but for now they can stay on the mantel..

Pastels Roses

Romantic roses..

Its been so long since my last post, so sorry. Life just slips by so quick. I am always checking out your blogs but not adding to mine. We have been doing alot of  camping, and work in my garden and home. I went to the local produce markets today and spotted these beauties, they had to come home with me. Enjoy.

Well it seems like im still having problems uploading pics. This happened another time i tryed to do a post. Anyway here are some photos of previous posts(Some of my favourites). Hopefully I will have this sorted soon.

Cherry blossom(Falling snow)

Spring is only weeks away just around the corner and I have spent so many hours in the gardens getting ready for it. Summer is my least favourite time of the year. (I dont like the heat ). So i spend aleast 3months of the cooler parts of the year getting ready for the growth spurt. This blossom is the beginning of my garden wakening. I do love spring though. The sweet smell of the blossoms bursting to life and the roses opening there delicate petals. Whats not to love about spring right!.

My Backyard..

My time flys when your having fun, Its been a while since my last post, and in actual fact Ihavent been having so much fun. I have been alittle done in the dumps and my whole body and joints have been aching and hurting for some time. I have been tested for rheumatoid arthritus and now i have to see a physio therapist etc, to work things out. I have had so many projects on the back burner, but now i am starting to get it together and get on with them. But first here are some photos of some resent trips to rainforest right here in my backyard. And the last are photos of some flowers I have made, some will be brooches and some have been made into childrens headbands. I will finish them off this week and add them to my etsy store.  So please enjoy and hopefully it will not be to long between posts next time. Enjoy your week..

The Paris Princess...

I have started on making some new designs for tote bags and cushion covers and some other treasures i will share soon... Its such a competative market out there and trying to come up with new ideas is always a challenge. I love the french look and the shabby chic look and thought a way to showcase them both in the one item. What do you think?

I will keep this one as a sample as it has some inperfections. Its a generous sized tote that is fully lined in gorgeous pink damask with a very pale hint of old gold. It also has a pocket inside for keys, phone etc.
